Child Safety Week focuses on turning technology off

Child Safety Week, run by the Child Accident Prevention Trust, takes place on 6–12 June 2016. The theme for this year is ‘Turn off technology for safety’ – encouraging parents to turn off technology at crucial times in the day so that they give their children their focus and keep them safer. The week aims to raise awareness of child accidents and how they can be prevented. There are free resources available, including practical ideas for engaging children and parents, and hints and tips on how to encourage behaviour change.
